Architectural Design
Architectural design was established in 1986 by Chris J Lock M.C.I.O.B. with the aim of providing a multidisciplinary professional practice to serve the area of East Yorkshire and beyond. Based in Driffield 'The Capital of The Wolds', the practice is geographically and professionally well placed to offer a complete range of architectural and planning services throughout the East and North Yorkshire areas. For over 25 years the practice has undertaken and been involved in a wide range of development projects with an equally wide range of contract values up to £1,500,000.
The practice continues to provide a personal service to private clients with works extending from small domestic extensions to individually designed residences, small residential developments, commercial and industrial projects and extensions to commercial and industrial buildings. We are an architectural practice of long standing and with a reputation for providing, professional quality design, on time and within budget. We pride ourselves on providing a professional yet very personal service.
Within the practice we can offer a wide range of skills: architecture, local authority planning and building regulations applications and issues, landscape architecture and project management. We also embrace through associated companies and consultancies, a number of disciplines including CDM planning supervision, quantity surveying, structural engineering, highway design, mechanical and electrical engineering and topographical surveys, thus providing a comprehensive range of construction related professional services to the private sector. We aim to provide the highest quality of service by, investment in technology and retention of specialist consultants.
